well I`m not sure I must have had bad flash of module, I took out the Radio out and check everything and everything was ok, do I decide to flash it as Non-sync truck flash and I used my wifes windows 7 PC and I plugged everything back in, and power my truck back up and boom......my buttons started to work right so I went back in and flashed it as Sync truck and the buttons work that way now too, I`m chalking it up to bad flash of the module so only problem I have now it shows the clock in my oem dispaly as still 2 hours off that`s only thing right now.

my windows 8.1 laptop, I flashed it bunch of times and never worked, but again I never tried to flash it has Non-sync truck with my windows 8.1 even my truck is sync one, so who knows I`m just glad my buttons work right now, I just took some electrical tape and covered up the clock that says AM instead of PM and is 2 hours behind my pioneer

yeah mine will show the Sirius channel and whats song is playing, and it will change when different sources are used, but I listen Sirius all the time,
sometimes it will say the channel 37 then the song name on the second line, or sometimes it will say Octane(channel 37) on first line then the song name on the second line, its just the clock is jacked up for me idatalink says there is pioneer bug for the clock issue

well 12vguy got back to me on the Speed input wire, and he says the Pink wire that comes out the Maestro RR is the speed wire we need to connect 8000nex, so I will have to popout the radio after work today and solder those wires together, I know in the install guide, it doesnt give a description of the pink wire just says No connection, I guess they need to update there install guide for the Pioneers, Yeah I really like my 8000nex so much faster than the kenwood I had.

Ok that pink wire coming out of the Maestro RR is the VSS wire needed for the 8000Nex, I soldered the 2 pink wires together and went to Settings and system info and too the 3d calibration screen and started to drive and watch the speed pulse counter and it started counting up. so should be all Good

Hows your maps? Mine jumps all over the place regularly. My Sirius goes in on Thursday. Im thinking it needs the maestro idatalink to work. My truck gps still shows the proper heading direction NW or SE but the pioneer loses me all the time

mine works fine, I have not seen it just around at all, did you just post over on AVIC411? if so I just replied to that post about the same thing, the latest FW is 1.08, I updated the FW first thing when I bench tested my 8000nex, knowing I would need it anyways with Maestro RR.
