Alot of companies use the rear rca's as a rear speaker/sub woofer. If the head unit actually has a sub control, then there should be a setting in there to switch the rear rca's between Rear Speakers and Subwoofer.

ive installed a few, and im happy with them, i wish they had more function options and the main thing i wish it had was an adjustable tilt face, but you get what you pay for

its a nice strong headunit that will give you everything you need with the ability to add even more

Well - I finally did it. I bought the same head unit. I actually bought it on ebay brand new and only paid $294.00 for the HU and wiring harness and install kit for my 2008 F-150 SuperCrew XLT.

I haven't installed it yet as I am still waiting for my new 12" sub and box to arrive.

I do have a quick question about the toggle switch bypass for the DVD.

All I have to do is hook the green wire marked"Parking Brake" to one side of the toggle switch and the other side of the toggle switch to a good ground??? Is that correct??? Do I need to splice into the Parking Brake at all? (I really don't want to mess with that if I don't have to)

Do I have to flip the switch several times or just once?

Will I have to do that everytime I start the truck?

I am planning to install it on either Thursday or Friday and want to have everything figured out by then. Any and all advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!

And - NO - I am not planning to watch it while driving - but I do have a wife and 2 kids. Long trips with kids and no entertainment - NO MORE!!!
