Default pioneer?

I am looking at getting these pioneer speakers,Pioneer TS-A6872R 240w max and 40w nominal or the TS-G6842R 180w max and 30w nominal(all other aspects of the speakers are the same) and am considering getting either the dynamat or baffles for the install. Any suggestions on which would be better a Dynamat or baffles(boom mat)? Should i go with a lower watt speaker in the front than rear or keep front and rear the same? I am speaker stupid!

PS i have a Sony Xplode deck that puts out, lets say 40wx4 if iam lucky.

Thanks for any advice! You radio guys are great!

Check out sounddeadenershowdown.com for some good info on dampening.

Your head unit is probably putting out 15w rms.

I'd spend your money on the fronts and get a high sensitivty component set. Leave the rears stock or disconnect them.
