Default PAC swi-ps for 2010 f150

Installing a PAC swi-ps for a pioneer AVH-P4300DVD and was wondering if anyone has installed one of these. Online on their website it states to cut the purple loop and install a resistor. Then the next step states not to touch the two loops. Anyone have any insight on the install. Also I have heard there is a delay in the volume buttons. Any info??

When researching this you have to go to their site and plug in your truck for specific wiring for your truck.

I read about all the delay issues and didnt want to mess with resistors so I went with an Axxess interface and 3 wires and no programming (auto) it works like a charm with no delay.

I had one of those. Mine was a wireless model and you put the sensor somewhere so it would work like a remote for the deck. I actually put it under the dash and it worked great. Well worth the money.

This one you are showing is a different model so I cannot say for sure on that one.

PAC emailed back and they do state to cut the purple loop and install the resistor. If you look it up on the website it says to cut and then in the next step says to leave the two loops alone. He says thats the way the instructions, but to cut the loop and install the resistor.
