Default PAC oem frd-24 Question

I noticed the Pac Adapter has the rca audio outputs to the amp.Do I still have to tap into the stock speaker wires for the amp output?

Yes (or run new speaker wire), BTW the FRD24 will not work correctly (by itself) with an audiophile system if you've got one.

You could run new speaker wire to the doors instead of cutting the stock wires.
It's more work but it's a good way to go if you're running lots of power to your speakers.

Sync is added in after the radio, so you may want to tap after the sync module to keep its voice.

there is no way you can "tap" after the apim. its a seperate system from the radio.

I'm not sure where the SYNC taps in but I didn't lose it when I ran the PAC oem and new speaker wire to the doors.

IIRC, I've seen one forum post that said it was dependent on what sound system (basic or other oem) you have installed whether you would loose sync or not.
