Default OEM Single CD Player - How to connect Iphone 3G?

Hi,

since a few days I am owner of an F150 from 2000 with the original Ford single CD player. I have the Iphone 3G and would like to connect to the headunit/radio via the CD changer recaptacle. I searched on ebay and theer are many offers, but none of em clearly signs that it is working with the Iphone 3G. In my old car I had such Ipod solution which was not working with my Iphone.
If some has his Iphone working with the factory Ford single CD player, please let me know which parts I should buy that my one will work, too.

Regards,

Janusz

(Sorry for my poor English)

It would be much easier to just use the 3.5mm auxilary plug already on the front of the dash. Sure its not an ipod specific plug but you can still run your music through the radio.

There is no line in on a 2000 stock deck.

OP, use Crutchfield.com's outfit my car to find items that will work with your truck. I don't know if you can add a line in with that early of a deck.

Wow - Crutchfield was perfect. There I found the Scosche Passport. Wit this item I could use every old IPOD interface with the Iphone 3G. So, now I could buy an interface on ebay, add the the Scosche and all will be nice.

Thanks a lot for that reply!

Regards,

Janusz

Geez my bad, for some reason I was thinking I was still in the 09+ section. One of those days.

Uhh.. Unless I missed something, all the Scosche Passport does is charge your ipod/iPhone.. Is this correct?
