No SYNC voice on Kenwood install of Maestro
I am very nearly completed my install of my Maestro K-150 kit and for the most part it has gone well. All audio is working correctly with the exception of the voice lady from SYNC. Both the head unit and the phone is showing as paired and it plays BT music on command (the screen shows "listening"), I just cant hear the voice. I figure I'm missing something obvious.
Any suggestions?

This sounds stupid but it worked for me. Same issue exactly and I happened to turn up the volume while she was speaking, and there she was! Strange, as the volume was fine on the music she interrupted.

**UPDATE**
I sucked it up and tore everything back open, checked my connections, re-flashed, and reset the Maestro, reset and re-paired SYNC . Put it back together in 107° weather..and BAM it all worked.
The moral is: Well I don't really have one because I really have no idea what I did wrong. Anywho.. I'm digging the kit so far. Having a beer

Tried that. It shows all the info on the screen i.e. voice active, listening etc. as if it wants to make it happen.. but nothing

Most likely the 3.5mm audio jack came unplugged from back of radio when you put it in first time. Happens a lot. That's why on the module side we have changed to a 3 pin locking plug.

I know this is an old thread but I had a similar problem when recently installing a Kenwood DDX774HD & Intellilink Maestro 150 into my 2013. No SYNC lady voice confirmation and I couldn't hear any inbound cell phone audio through the radio even though my phone was connected to SYNC for hands free.
The Kenwood has two 3.5mm jacks on the back. One is for the Sync audio input from the Maestro and the other is for a generic A/V signal input from an iPod, etc.
I had the Maestro plugged into the wrong one.
