New System Pics!!!
I started a thread a couple of months ago about starting a new system, thanks for the advice. just wanted to put my pics and some of my system info. I say i did a great job for my buget and it sounds fantastic! I started with a Kenwood DDX514 deck, got it at SonicElectronix.com (with free Scosche install kit) this thing is sweet! The touch screen works great and comes with all the toys. I went with Kicker DS680.2 (around $70 bucks) They sound great and install was about 30 minutes, They installed perfect in to the factory speaker locations with no modification at all. I had and old Kenwood PS250 amp from a few years ago and it works great. Installed behind the back seat on the passenger side. Getting the back seat of was pretty easy, and the amp mounts right up aginst the back of the sound proof padding with a little modification (depens on size of your amp). I went with a Old "10 Kickersolobaric i found on ebay for $20 bucks. I went with a solobaric for the size of the box can be so much smaller, I like to have a litter more room Under the seat. Sounds great (i know the carpet work needs a little work). Hope this can help any one wondering about buying a new system since i poored through a lot of these forums for every bodys advice. Cheers!

Not bad for a budget system. I personally like the complete touch screen DD HU's. Check out my pics and you will see what I am talking about. Great looking truck though!! (And your right that carpet is a little off)

Thanks for the posts, i looked at full touch screens but something about turing the volume with the pad dident seem right to me. Thats why i went with this kenwood and so glad i did i love it. The touchscreen works awsome and the volume *** you almost dont see plus it works excellent.
