Default New system

I'm considering getting a new system put in my truck. Thinking about getting 2 JL Audio 10W3v3-4 and getting a Fox acoustics box for it. I currently have a 12" Alpine Type-R in a ported box, but I'm tired of it sitting on my seat so that's why I'm looking to get something that can go underneath the back seat. Would this be a good buy, or would it be worth saving up a little extra getting a custom box made or is this box good enough?

Thanks for any input or suggestions!

Yeah, I've heard they are good boxes, but I just want it to sound good and still be pretty loud. I know that I can't have it be super loud and have great sound quality. Some of the members from the Crutchfield forum have told me to just get a custom ported box made if I have the money to.

Ported is louder than a sealed box but the box isn't as tight. I had only one 10" sub and it was loud enough. I had the gain on the amp turned way down. I would get a box that fits nice under the seat.

I was considering removing my center console seat and getting a custom box made, I feel like the money it would cost just for two 10s wouldn't be worth the trade off

I just bought a fox box single 10" for under my seat of my 2012 supercrew. This box is very nice and sounds great. I have a JL 10w1v2 and a rockford fosgate r500 prime amp. definately recommend although it took about 3 weeks to receive.

I currently have a 1800w Kenwood Monoblock hooked up to my type-r. Just wondering how loud the two of JL's will be compared to my single 12 in a sealed box.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best in car DVD player? I need either new one with two screens, or two. I would like to play mult-region DVDs and DVDR+/- discs

I can see lots online but they all seem to have differing reviews.

Brunette1, I don't know much about in car DVD players. Probably continue to look online and maybe you can find something. Amazon sometime has alot of quality reviews on car audio items. Good luck to you
