thanks guys and so 2 of these 4ohm dvc wired in parallel will give me the desired 1ohm load correct?

awe man thanks for all the help! now as soon as I save some spending money I'll order everything, just gotta find the cheapest place to find the new box I want. I believe someone said sonic electronic was the cheapest place for the subs. so I'll be getting everything for about $400 plus shipping, id say that's not to bad a price

Make sure you double check the sub depth before you order the box.

I have the sub depth is 5 7/8", the box is 6.5". so I should have a good bit of extra room an the box comes with a seat rising kit

have any of you guys ordered subs off of eBay? because I found the subs for $138.69 with free shipping and was thinking about ordering them

Nope, the SWR 1043D's; 10" type R dual 4ohm voice coils. The 600rms ones.

They are approx 2 months old, I have 6 of them.
