Looks like a good fit, any idea of the projected cost? Forgive my ignorance with regards to sound boxes but can you match the color of the fabric on the box to my interior carpet and can it be ordered with custom words on the box? Not that I wouldn't like to advertise the "FOX BOX" but it would be cool if there was a custom word(s) option available. Thanks.

true, there are many but to get optimum performance of the sub you need 2" from pole vent to rear of box which obiously were not gonna get, my only concern is 1.75" from baffle to floor is not really that much when you take into consideration xmax and gasket size, would there be a way to modify or offer others later with more space than the alloted 1.75?

I was at CES a few years back and JL Audio was showing there new stealth boxes. Since I make vehicle specific enclosures I always stop by there booth to see whats new. A person that sounded very knowledgeable in car audio was arguing with Steve Tourissi about one of the new enclosures that used a 8w7. He pointed out that they used a 2.5" port but JL's manual calls for a 3 or 4 inch port and that the box was obviously smaller than what JL recommended.
Steve had the best answer I''ve ever heard. He said.
We recommend the optimum enclosure for all around music in our manuals. The vehicle and location of this enclosure is in no way optimum but this is the best you will get with the available space. The sound is still impressive and you don't loose valuable space.

I ran 180 enclosures last week and about 60 or 70 have already shipped to dealers. So far I've got 4 calls from dealers that have installed them and they love the boxes. 2 dealers used JL w3's one used Punch P3's and the other said he cut the holes larger and used the Kicker Solo Classic 12's. The dealer with the punch P3 said he pulled the aluminum cover off of the magnet because it was 1/16" too deep with it on.

I will add this enclosure to my website in a few days. They are $175 with shipping in the 48 states. They are in stock, boxed up and ready to ship. Fedex picks up daily so the enclosure will ship same day if ordered before 12 noon CST.

I have dealer pricing available and I also have wholesale pricing for truck load orders. I already manufacture enclosures and product displays for several companies. Just let me know what you need and I'll quote it. I accept .cad, .3dm and .dwg file formats. I have a in house mold and die shop with both 3 and 5 axis abilities so I can keep tooling cost to a minimum.

can you make a custom box for the seat behind the driver (two seater lift up). I have the Lariat (700 W Sony) which has a 8" box / amp under the single seat behind the front passenger. Was looking for a little extra punch. Thank you, these boxes look suhhh-wheat

I havent seen a ext cab yet. My local dealer has atleast 30 or 40 crew cabs and no ext cabs. They said they can't give them away which leads me to think there isnt much of a market for them. I was hopping the 09's would be like the 04-08's which use the same box for the ext and crew cabs.
If you have a digital cammera shoot some pictures from the front and sides with the seat up and down and I'll have a rough idea of what I'm looking at.
I'm in Louisiana and if anyone wants a free box I just need a truck for a day to digitize it. I always give a free box to customers that let me use there vehicles to design enclosures.
