New speakers - which amp.?

If I can make another recommendation, definately get an amp with RMS rating above what you will need. Remember that class A-C amplifiers are only about 60 percent efficient, so to get the best sound, you will only want to turn your amps gain setting to just above half.
In this guys case he is using the stock deck which amplification SUCKS on so using an amp that is rated anywhere between 50 to 75 per channel will be perfectly suffice and give a clean crisp sound.
OP, make sure you set the gains between 1/2 and 3/4 NEVER go full bore with gains.

I have the polk db571's in my 05' and i'm going to add this amp. it's a rockford fosgate 4x75w and is small enough to install up under the dash infront of the console. rockford is always a good amp too...

That was kinda the point. When you see an RMS rating of an amplifier it is the rating at full power. Important to keep in mind that running any amp at full power is not recommended. So if you want to get 75 watts out of an amp, look for one that is rated higher than 75 because you will not want to have to run your amp at full power (distortion) to get the power you desire.
Just take my advice on this one. If you get an amp that is RMS 75, take 60% of that (if you have your gain turned to 60%, which you should unless you go seriously high quality), you will only get 60% of the rated RMS.
Not sure if Venom's post was intended to disagree with me, but it kinda said the same thing using different words. Anyway, yeah

Thanks for everyone that replied.
I sat in the back of my truck and noticed that the rear speakers do not sound s good as the fronts.
Why would this be if I had the same speakers fitted front and rear.

Did anybody see this?
Polk 5x7s for $15 for a pair!?!
Just called the store after I placed an order. They said it was a computer error. He said that they are going to email me what they are going to do about it. Hopefully, they will honor the sale or give me the speakers at a discounted rate. If not they will get a poor rating by me.
