Default New speaker adapters for 2015+

Hey guys,

I just did a google search and found these. I can't tell you anymore than that. Price seems a little steep! But at least it's an option.

I don't know that they are pricey, if you went out and bought the plastic, you'd probably spend half that, and still have to machine them. The benefits of plastic over wood in the moist environment of a door are hard to argue.

Those are nice, but can't you do the same thing with a plastic adapter and something to seal it with?

Looking at these closely it looks like they are built very good. When you figure the cost of materials and your labor I think these are worth the extra money to have a first class product

I am talking with these guys right now about making a mount for my 6.5" speakers. So far they have been very responsive /professional. It seems like this is not a off the shelf product. They use a cnc machine and customize the mount to fit the specifications of your speaker. Also it appears to include the f. a. s. t ring built in. Will report back if I make the purchase when I receive the mount.

Crutchfield list this bracket http://www.crutchfield.com/g_103200/...ts.html?tp=919 as fitting the new F150.

If you buy your new speakers from Crutchfield, they give you the brackets free!

Have you done this? Has anyone done this?
Seems like these adapters are not your normal giveaways

If you buy speakers from Crutchfield, they usually include the brackets (the brackets they have, not what the OP was referring to).
Go to Crutchfield.com and type in your truck info to see what they offer. When I looked earlier at some speakers, the brackets were included free of charge with the purchase of a set of speakers.

Yes they do include speaker adapters. I was pointing out that they wouldn't be the OP brackets.
