Not in owners manual. In GPS Navigation Instruction Manual. I think it is on the Kenwood site.

That is the 892 manual. I have an 890. Here's the page for the 891. I did not see a reference to it in the 892 manual. There is a reference to the apps though.

Ok, thanks... I believed you, just couldn't find the symbol in the manuals...

It is pretty neat, all the damn features this 892 has. Dont even have to look at my Note5, for gas prices or weather forecast!

Still can't get my DNX890 to connect to Smartphone Link. Does the 890 support this feature? My phone connects to the both SYNC and DNX890 via Bluetooth with no issues. All I'm wanting is the gas prices and weather like Toddman has in his pics. I have the OEM Bluetooth turned off. I've removed all paired devices and paired my iPhone 6s successfully. When I go to connect the Smartphone Link on the DNX, it says "connecting" for several seconds, then it says "ready to connect". I have both the Smartphone Link and Kenwood Traffic apps on my phone. Do I need both of these?

No, just the Kenwood Inrx Traffic App (my 892 came with a 2 yr free Sub., $60 for lifetime after that)... As soon as I start my truck, it pairs with the 892. Within a minute, I can select the Weather Forecast and Fuel Prices from the Nav. screen.

Im no Kenwood Expert, but from what Ive read on Kenwood Forums and Google! The Trafic on my 892, is done by the Kenwood Inrx App!

Previous 890 and 891 models, have it built into the HU. And requires you to go to the kenwood/Garmin site to sign up/purchase this feature, for it to work! Im not sure if the 890/891 come with a free trial as my 892 has a free 2 yr subscription!

Its on Pg, 30 of your Navigation Manual... I downloaded 1 from Kenwoods support page, just enter your model # dnx890hd! The 890hd has a traffic reciever built in! Its activated once your gps aquires a signal from the satellites! As I said before, Im not sure if a free sub., is included or must be purchased!

Hope this helps...
