New Maestro and DNX890HD

12volt guy, I have a thread on the idatalink forum.
I have a 2012 Ford f150 with sync non nav. Installed Kenwood dnx890hd with maestro rr. Recently updated Kenwood to latest version 1.20. After reflashing the maestro the boost gauge on the gauges screen is acting funny. Every few seconds it reads zero even under constant boost. For example 11-11-0-11-0-11-0. Is there a way to flash back the previous version that worked? All other selected gauges work fine. I have reflashed the maestro and did a factory reset. Also hard reset the Kenwood unit and reset the maestro through the head unit. Any ideas? My email is brettdu4@gmail.com. thanks in advance

After you reset the module, did you go into the gauges section of the maestro settings and validate the PIDs? I would try that before re-flashing.
If that doesn't work for you, I pushed the last version of the firmware to your account. If you want to flash the old firmware, click "flash your module", then "flash by user firmware", select the firmware I sent you, and proceed with the flash.
So I followed Daras suggestions. After validating the pids the boost gauge behaves normally, however the next startup produces the original problem. So basically I have to validate the pids every time I start my truck. To my knowledge it's only the turbo/boost pid.
One other thing with the latest Kenwood software update and idatalink software is that most of the time information on the Ford oem display gets stuck when switching stations or songs. Like the title doesn't match the song.
The older firmware for the maestro seemed to work well with kenwoods 1.20 update. I was told that firmaware was pushed to my account but when I go to flash the old firmware it cannot be found in my account. Your input is appreciated. Have a great sunday

Have you been able to connect with Dara and get the update. We are sure we corrected the boost issue and possibly the meta data issue as well, however we never did see it or find the "for sure" root cause of it. Just want to know if you are all squared away.

On the DNX892, can you retain Sync mic, and install the kenwood mic to switch between the two?

If you retain syncs bluetooth, when someone calls does theyre contact picture and number show on the Kenwoods screen? Or only if using Kenwoods version of bluetooth?
I like how my wifes Equinox does this on her 7" display...

On my DNX890, no. But I don't need a pic to know who I am talking to. LOL.
I wanted to retain Sync so that in an accident where the airbags are deplayed, it will use my phone to call 911. It can even give GPS coordinates.

The stock sirius antenna can be used with the aftermarket tuner right? Is it a straight gorward swap?
