If you haven't already put subs in I would try just replacing the door speakers first. You might be surprised at how good they sound by themselves.

Doing this would require aftermarket pods for the kick panels to mount the speakers in. To make it simple just put 6x8s in the front doors or 6 inch with an adapter plate to fit the 6x8 mounting holes and a separate tweeter higher in the door panel. The cab of a truck is small enough that a sub or 2 under the rear seat will give you more than enough deep bass.

He already has 3 way coaxials in the front doors. But hes dead set on some low end up front because evidentally his 10s arent enough for him. The only way to achieve this is to use kick panel mounted mid bass speakers. The door speakers dont have a completely sealed space to give enough of an enclosure to reproduce the low end and like i stated before, the 6x8s will not be suffice to his wants

I know this. I have already explained he'd have to glass some pods for the kick panels.

i want more bass cuz my factory speakers hit harder than the 6x8 i have and i miss the bass, which is obvious cuz the 6x8 are more for clarity not bass but i miss having the bass up front. i do love the 6x8 for the clarity but i wanna get more bass

The 6x8s arent lacking any more bass than your stockers, they just have the tweeters so theyre not trying to reproduce the lows, mids and highs all in one cone which coincidentally will drown the highs and mids out and try to bring out the low end more. Thats the only difference in the 2 speakers. Try a set of 2 ways and see how you like those.

After doing some searching for my own system these are what I have decided I am going to go with:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ce-6830cs.html
They utilize a 5x7/6x8 woofer for the door mount and the seperate tweeter to be able to stage the sound coming from them. They are a component set as well. Maybe you should be looking into somthing like this or a 6.5" component system with adapter plates.
