Ok fellas....I got the pac adapter. Here is a pic of it and the ktp 445u amp. I'm still lost here. I usually don't have a problem with this stuff... I'm not sure where to splice...I have an idea...but that would mean id have to cut something right?

Isn't it just plug and play from there?

Haha! I hope so. Seems I have to splice the wires on the left of the amp into something? Right?

someone on here did the same install. i tried to look for the thread for you, but didn't find it. It's not that old. Know which thread I'm thinking of?

It goes, HU to PAC to Alpine to Pac to Speaker socket.

Probably have to splice from the Alpine out to the PAC out.

But look for that thread. If I remember right, it was well documented.

First off you didnt need the PAC. The Metra BT5220 or similar harness (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120BT55...ss.html?tp=159) is what you need. You can make it happen with the PAC but IMO its a waste of $ and adds unnecessary equipment in your system.

This thread is the one Guinness is referring to https://www.f150forum.com/f30/small-...stalled-96750/

I have the Metra BT-5520 in my truck and run it to the LC6i and then out to both of my amps controlling the door speakers and sub. Took 5 minutes to plug it in behind the dash and very easily integrated. All factory controls work exactly as they should and it all looks factory. Best part, it will only take another 5 minutes to remove that harness and let the factory unit power the speakers again when it comes time to get rid of it.

Ok I read thru that whole other thread, and couldn't find an answer to my question. I posted in it and no one has answered.

I pretty much have it all figured out. Except for the yellow and black wire. Do I just tap them into the pac harness, and be done with it? Cuz all other wires match up like you say HU>pac>alpine>pac out>speaker outs. All I have left is those 2 wires, yellow and black.
