It's amazing how far audio has come down on pricing for amps. PPI use to make great amps and be one of the best in the industry. If getting your truck broken into is a serious problem then I'd either make sure I have great insurance to cover theft or get something cheap like posted from Kraken. I have a $100 deductible just in case anything happens to any one of my vehicles. My policy only increased by $130 a year to do so. It's worth it to me since a rock chip can crack a window and cost me over a grand to replace it.

When the truck is at my house no one is dumb enough to steal out of it, it was at the shop getting work done. I have insurance (including glass with no deductible) but my deductible is $500, the shop is taking care of the amp but I'm just putting that money into the shop bill. All in all with these repairs/upgrades I'm in it like $14k so I'm broke, not wanting to fork over another $500-$600 on an amp lol

The PPI I posted is really good and is highly regarded at sites like DIYMA. NVX also makes good amp for the price

No disagreement on that one here. A buddy of mine ran a ppi back in the day and it was great.

Well, there's always some knuckleheads who might use the wrong gauge power cable and kill it then blame the manufacturer.

Reviews can be hit and miss these days. I'm sure you know that.

When I think of PPI, this is the only thing that comes to mind! Damn, I remember the good old days of running these off my old Eclipse ECD-415. Pure audio bliss.

I've heard stories since PPI got sold out and that's why their reputation went downhill quickly. I'm not stirring the pot just saying to be careful. All sellers on Amazon for audio gear are not authorized to do so. Many of those products will not carry any warranty. Lots of that stuff will also have the serial numbers scrubbed off so the manufactures can't find out who is selling their stuff online or able to track the stolen merchandise. It's always the case of buyer beware.
