I have a 09 f150 xlt and I Just got an alpine 800 watt amp, and two 400 watt 10'' kicker subs, and I took my truck to Ultimate Electronics and they told me that I needed new interface or something like that. they were going to charge me $300 to install my amp and I really dont want to spend that much just on installing. So I was wondering is there any way I can hook up my speaker wires to my stock stereo without getting a new interface?

I heard you can hook the new wires to the stock speaker wires is this true? If it is could somebody send me a guide on installing an amp in a 09 f150.
