You'll have trouble finding a 2 channel amp that powerful, but that's OK since you don't need a 2 channel amp anyway. You want to run a pair of 4 ohm subs so a mono (one channel) sub amp that makes around 1000w into 2 ohms will be what you want.

Memphis doesn't make an amp with those specs, but they do make a couple that will do around 500w into that load and you would have a hard time telling the difference in power. If you really *must* send them 1000w, you'll have to go with a different brand.

Did you already buy the subs? It's going to save you money on the amp if you go to the 4 ohm DVC subs so that you can run a one ohm load.

With 4 ohm DVC, you can use:

or

With 4 ohm SVC, get ready to drop some serious coin:

That amp will be fine, provided that you go with the dual coil subs. Going with the dual coils gives you more wiring options to get a compatible load for the amp to get the power that you want.

brian.boyd,
Careful with dealercostcaraudio.com, there's a thread on here about them.

Good luck!
