Okay so i'm a bit hazy on the pac still. I'm missing how from the amp the sound then gets routed back into the speakers to amp them.. Any chance of uploading a paint picture? Thank you.

I cant answer that. I wouldnt use or recommend the kicker myself. You can do so much better for the same or less money

What would you use? I want something that can go behind my seat. I'm not looking for a lot of bass just something that will actually play it. I use my flat floor a lot for my dog so I can't really have a sub down there in her way.

As for the pac I believe I got it.. someone correct me if I'm not. Read this on another thread.

  • Insert AOEM-FRD24 RCA between stock harness and stock radio.
  • Use AOEM RCA outputs to 4-channel amp.
  • Run amp speaker outputs back up to AOEM harness.
  • Cut the four speaker wire pairs in the AOEM harness, attach the amp output wires to the AOEM harness side that runs to the doors through the stock wire wiring.

Sounds like you have the idea of the PAC unit. What cab do you have? I'm not aware of anything that will fit behind the seat of a SCab or SCrew.

I have the SuperCrew. Both the Kicker and the SO can fit behind the rear seat. I've read of people doing it with little to no modification of the back wall felt liner.

The SO will fit. They are not that powerful but I hear they add good low fill.

Okay so I've been playing around with the idea of piecing together a whole system. Building my own box and everything. My question is, and I'm still doing research on this but, does anyone know how big of a shallow mount sub can fit behind the rear seats of a screw? I'm hoping to be able to fit 2 of these http://www.crutchfield.com/p_13610TW...D4.html?tp=111 one on either side with the amps in the middle. Then get some JL Audio speakers for the front and install the PAC unit to wire into an amp to amp all the speakers as well. I'm going to try and keep this under $2000.00 if I can. It's been years since I've done any sound stuff so it's kinda hazy but it's coming back to me.

I don't think you will get much of a box to fit behind the seat. I would recommend a box for under the rear seat firing down. 10" will fit nicely.
