Default Need help, subs & amp

When it come to connection of speakers, amps, wires in general I am not the best around, so I need a little help on how to hook up the following:

2x JL Audio 10W3V3-4 10" Single 4 Ohm W3v3 Series Subwoofer
Peak: 1000 watts
RMS: 500 watts
Impedance: Single 4 Ohm

1x Kenwood Excelon XR-1S
mono subwoofer amplifier
600 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (700 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
Class-D amplifier design

What does it mean when it's bridged, series, or parallel ??
If anyone could help me with the best wire-ring diagram for these I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Looking on the back of my amp, it has 2+ and 2-, but when I look up mono amp it shows only one, on the specs it doesn't mention 2 channel, only mono (like I know what the that means, lol).

Use the first diagram to wire your subs use one of the positive and one of the negatives, this will be whats called a bridged output.

No I don't believe it does matter, I would use the same terminal, like, left hand positive and left hand negative.

I sent you a PM, the manual has the correct method to wire 2 subs, I would advise using that method.

Amp positive to speaker #1 positive
Amp neg to speaker #1 negative
Amp positive #2 to speaker #2 positive
Amp neg #2 to speaker #2 neg

I would start with that as this is what Kenwood recommends.

Yep, took a look at the manual and saw that, speakers coming in today, will connect it like the manual says.

Thanks for the info.
