Default Need help on my purchase

2010 F-150 Screw is the vehicle of choice

I plan on installing a 4 channel amp to drive the door speakers, and also a monoblock JL250/1 amp that i already have to drive a subwoofer, though this will be coming in later...Here is what i have narrowed down my pics to:

Amp:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-J2320.4-.html

This item is pretty much picked, unless someone has something better for a better price with a preout to go to my other amp, recommendation are welcome. I plan to install that amp on a LOC/signal processor then using the preouts to run to my other jl250/1 amp for my sub at a later date.

Speakers:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...o+C2-570X.html
-or-
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...l+570+CA1.html

So my choices have been narrowed down to those two, again, unless someone has something better in that price range. I'm not really interested in going component sets, as i don't want to have to find a place to mount the seperate tweeter.

LOC/signal processor:

Seems there are a lot, but i have 'sorta' narrowed it down to

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...C-sup%3E-.html
-or-
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+CL441dsp.html
-or-
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...87322946-.html
-or-
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...GRAY+LC6-.html

After some more reading, it looks like i am really just choosing between the LC6i or the cleansweep...will probably ditch the generic LOC below, still would like some more input though

-OR just a basic LOC like one of these
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...che+SLC-4.html
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...dGate+XR4.html
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...s+ALOC648.html

So thats about what i have it narrowed down to. If there are better options for speakers or the signal processor or amp then please let me know, I will be installing this myself so may be posting here to get some help with that as well...I am not stuck on any one brand, this is just the stuff i have read about and seem to work well.

I would like to order this stuff either tomorrow if i get enough information or no later than early next week, as i would like to do the install next weekend.

Let me know what you like/dislike about my picks of equipment, and what you would do, and any tips on installing.

Lets see your picks and what you would do!!! I WILL BE ordering this stuff soon, i have the money ready and all.

Thanks readers

Yeah, i found a place with the 3sixty.1 for sale for 194, but from what i can tell, i can only use the sound processing with a bluetooth device, which i do not have. I have laptops, but they don't have bluetooth, and i find it lame to have to purchase a dongle to do manipulation of a device, should have a USB port on it or something to make it more accessible, though i will consider it. I have moved what i am looking at to between the 3sixty.1 and the AudioControl LC7, the cleansweep with supply me with a flat signal, but then i would have to go and buy another equalizer to change the sound. With the LC7, i can still manipulate just bass and treble (not much, i know) with my factory stereo, and it sums all the input channels to output to each of the preouts, even the sub, and my 250/1 has a lowpass filter, which would only allow the low signals through, so I am heavily weighing that unit. If i can find another way that i could actually use the 3sixty.1 then i would go with it, if anyone knows if i can use the data port and a computer with windows7 to do the same job then that would be good enough and seal that purchase. Still looking for opinions on the speakers and the amp, and recommendations are welcome.

Thanks

that amp will work good but jl is money when there is stuff out there for better. The focal speakers 10/10 but I would still go to. Www.woofersetc.com. and look at the cdt components that should still be on clearance

I don't really want to go components though, as i don't want to have to find a place to put the tweeters...if there was some 'easy' way to do so i would go that route though.

What amp similar to that would you recommend? I am more than willing to save some money, if its still of good quality...

And do you know if you can configure the EQ in teh 3sixty.1 without bluetooth? I saw some pics and it has a data port on it, which seems weird to be there if its not usable...

Thanks

WEll, i would like to purchase tonight, and am pretty much set on the amp and the focal 570ca1, as long as i can find them in stock somewhere for a good price. Seems sonicelectronix has them fro the best at 149, woofersetc doesn't carry them, but i can grab them off of ebay for 186, which seems fair. I hate ordering from a bunch of different places, but i have to do it. The amp is pretty much cheapest at sonicelectronix, and since i have had no other recommendations for a 50 or 60w x 4 channel amp, i guess i am sticking with that one....

I am still torn between the 3sixty.1 (which seems better) and the audiocontrol lc7, all i need help deciding, i have read ALL DAY, adn still don't know what i want to do...its pitiful, any more help would be wonderful. Oh, i can get the lc7 for 169, and the 3sixty.1 for 199 from some site i have never seen, or 218 from buy.com.

Any QUICK help would be great...

I have the 360.2 and have never needed to do another type of adjustmant other than via bluetooth. I would shoot fosgate a email or call them. Or even call your local fosgate dealer and double check. The ac module is good too but its no 3sixty

alright, 3sixty it is...

and now sonic is sold out of both my speakers and my amp, but both are on ebay, the amp even 5 bucks cheaper with free shipping, so i may take that...the speakers at 186 though, i may have to wait for sonic to get back in stock and save $60...

Anyways, will post back once i purchase everything to show what all i got, and even update with the install and how well that goes, i still have no clue how to get to the back of teh stock stereo, pulling off the cover is goign to be a bitch, hope i don't scratch it all up...

Alright, so far, i have ordered the 3sixty.1 from ebay for 185, free shipping, and also the JL J2 320.4 amp also from ebay for 165, now i just need to find a good deal on the focal 570ca1, sonic has them for 149, but best price i can find elsewhere is 186 on ebay, so i may be waiting to purchase those until sonic gets them back in stock, then i will order an amp install kit and some rca and speakerwire from them as well...

Thanks for all the help, if anyone happens to find the focal 570ca1 anywhere for around 150 a set, please let me know.

peace
