I am having a hard time deciding on new door speakers. I am looking to replace door speakers only for now. I am not planning on changing the head unit ever and may put 1 10" sub in at some point. But for now looking for better sound from the stock system. I am currently looking at 3 speakers in 3 price ranges.

1) mb quartz db571 50-70

2) kicker KS 68

3) JL audio c2-570x

Any input on what your choices would be or prior experience?

For now no.... I will once budget allows. I already have one JL 10" sub. I used to do car audio competition so I just want a good sounding mild system! I figure with the paper coned crap these trucks come with upgrading the speakers is the single most noticeable upgrade. So I will start there them save for my 2 amps!

Personally I wouldn't run coaxial or an oval speaker. Any reason you are shying away from 6.5"?
