Default Need help with car audio

So as of now i have a Rocksford Fosgate P400-2 (which is a 2-channel 400w amp)with a kicker 12" comp D. I love the sub and the bass it puts out but i dont want it on my seat anymore so i was thinking about selling the sub and buying a box to go under my seat and put 2 10's. I was looking at the JL audio 10's. Dont have a specific one. I have an 05 F-150 Crew Cab. I have a few questions:
-Will this amp have enough power to power the two 10s?
-Will it sound just as good or better than my 12?
-Should i upgrade from 8 gauge power wire to 4 gauge?
-Which JL audio 10" subs should i go with to get the most bass but still be used with my amp?
-My amp is mounted under my middle seat, which box should i get to be able to keep my amp there but have the 2 10s on the outsides.

Any help would be very appreciated. I just cant seem to find a thread with my exact situation.
Here is a link to my amp if any specifications are needed.

Probably not. You're running the amp in 1 channel mode now bridged which makes a lot more power than running it in 2 channel mode. For best results, you'll want a bigger amp.

-Will it sound just as good or better than my 12?
Better. A pair of 10's (properly powered) will have more cone area and assuming comparable quality subs, will have more output than a single 12.

-Should i upgrade from 8 gauge power wire to 4 gauge?
A bigger amp will likely mean a 4 gauge power wire.

-Which JL audio 10" subs should i go with to get the most bass but still be used with my amp?
To keep using your amp, you'll need a pair of 4 ohm subs unless your amp is stable to 2 ohms stereo. I still think you'd be much happier coughing up the extra scratch for a bigger amp. $200-300 would be all you'd need. Power is cheap these days.

-My amp is mounted under my middle seat, which box should i get to be able to keep my amp there but have the 2 10s on the outsides.
That you'll need to do some shopping around and measuring. You can also build your own or contact your local car audio shop and I'm sure they could whip you up something that would fit perfectly. It would cost a little more than just buying a basic box off Crutchfield but would be worth it IMO.

This is what I'm currently putting together. I'm running a pair of these wired to 1 ohm

http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-...ProductDetails

On this amp capable of 550 watts rms at 1 ohm

https://www.skaraudio.com/collection...ts/lp-550-1dv2

In a custom box I'm building to go under the rear seat of my 2012 supercrew.

Dayton is good stuff. I almost went with those subs as well but decided on a JL 10w3 box. It fits perfectly under the back seat.

I'd look around for a better amp. $89 for a 500 watt mono amp aint gonna be that great. You can get a quality amp for $200 that will make 500+ watts an be built a whole lot better. I've never heard of Skar audio and a 1 ohm stable amp for $89 just doesn't sound right.

550 watts rms, 1100 watts max. Those are the amp specs.
Speakers can handle 250 watts rms and 500 watts max each.
the speakers are slightly overpowered either way you look at it. The amp has already been delivered. According to reviews, the amp is going to be fine. Holding it in my hands, it looks and feels like a quality product. I'd say it's a better product than other products that jack the price up because of the name on the sticker.
I can always upgrade later if it's subpar.

Everything is installed and working. Sounds great already and I haven't even touched the eq yet. Skar amp pushes the 10s extremely well.

That amp is plenty of power for (2) 10s. Just wore them is series and you'll end up with he right load. I have a 2013 and I'm putting (2) JL 10tw3 under the back seat. You can get a premise box for around $100 and it will sound good.
