well the other day I got my Pioneer HU. I was going to install it tomorrow but my wife had another idea. She wants me to put it in her 07 Explorer. So now I have to get another one for me. She likes the idea of being able to control the video to a rear monitor. Now I have to get an over head monitor and wire it all up. Anybody have any idea if the overhead in the Explorer is double walled so I can just drive in a few screws or is it single walled and I have to find ribs to screw into? Oh well at least it was not installed yet.

Ehh are u talking about what the monitor mounts too?? Most likely a roof brace

Yup the monitor mount. I am pretty sure the roof is doubled walled but I don't want to run a screw in it until I an darn sure. When I get back from my trip next week I will pull the headliner down and have a look.
