are all 4 6x9's hooked up to one kicker amp??? ur sig. says 2 amps but the thread it sounds like one... it seems unreasonable but i'm askin because if it is 4 speakers on one amp u might be overloading the amp. (to much resistance ie. ohms)
if it is two amps, i really dont know... but maybe check all of the wiring and see if something isn't effected by movement of the doors... or maybe they arent getting enough power when the doors are open b/c of the interior lights turning on. I dont know about these two ideas, just the only random possibilities i could think of.

yea i have an amp for the door speakers and a amp for the other 4 but the other 4 are the only ones cutting out there also bigger and better speakers so you think it could be overloading the amp?

yea i think its a possibility... Look at the ohm rating on the speakers and on the amp... it could be overloading the amp, and when you open the doors and the lights cut on the amp gets less power.
run your radio for a while with the engine off to drain the battery a little bit, and see if they cut out at a lower volume. i had two twelves on a monoblock pioneer and the amp would turn itself off at high volumes to prevent the amp from frying or a fuse from blowing.
PS. It puts alot of strain on an amp if you run it say at the highest it will go without cutting out. The amp probably will not last long like that.

ok i took it to best buy and 2001stu was right, i was over loading the amps, so im going to put some money into it and im getting 2 pairs of Alpine type X component speakers for the doors an use the 750W for those and im getting a new 4 channel 1000W amp for the speakers in the back so i think that should work.
