My Plans For System With Stock HU
So I have a leftover sub and amp from my old truck I want to use. I think it will provide enough bass for me. I mainly want a cleaner sound, but the stock system on this 2011 XLT Screw does not cut it.
I'm looking at purchasing a Rockford Fosgate Prime R300-4 to power 4 new Infinity Reference X REF-8602CFX speakers. I will use an AudioControl LC6i to tie these into the stock head unit with Sync.
I just posting to see if there is a better way to go, or if anyone has personal experience with these parts. I'm far from an expert, so any advice would be great. Cost is looking to be about $600 for me with existing pieces already on hand. I plan to copy the plans posted on here for a .68" cubic foot box under the passenger rear seat for the 10". I don't want to give up any space under the longer seat in the back.
