we talked about it at the shop today but i need room for at least 1 person to ride in the back, so it'll just be 1 for now, plus i'm going for tight quality sound instead of just loud.

Seat box would be a good option for you, retains the ability to have 3 people in the back seat, but the think I like about DD is the tight sound they make so you an have loud and clean sound with them

if i'm correct DD's need a decent amount of air space, and i don't know or think it will have enough to do it with the seat box.. when i actually have the cash for it (next weekend i hope) i will find out more

We would do seat boxes all day with 12s with trucks like yours, you really get a decent amount when you replace the seat with the sub box

hmm... i think i'm going to go for that..
i'm also considering an amp upgrade soon after seeing as i'm only pushing about 800 watts true all the way turned up on one channel..

I have a DD CM1, it says it's a 1000 watts on 1OHM but I'll tell you now that BS.... I had 2 solo baric 15s in my truck and this amp blew the pretty much right away lol, in other words DD under rates all there products!
