use the fuse that powers the stereo/navigation/auxilary ... but mainly the one fuse that turns on the stereo... thats how i got mine hooked up.

if you are having a problem with the remote wire, it may just be that he/you are not sure where to connect it, you just have to tap into your radio fuse.

we got it in earlier, it was a bad fuse, and the remote wire was hooked up to the wrong wire

It is easiest to hook up the remote wire to the switched +12V wire that goes into your radio

How do you guys like the Hi/lo converters? I had one for awhile and i hated it. I got a deck and the sound seemed to double and get alot clearer.

the hi/lo converter is necessary when you have a stock radio, thats why the quality is bad, you go from a higher grade to a lower grade pretty much...it sucks that stock radios dont have the sub connections pre made...and it also sucks that the hi/lo converters cost 2 bucks, but then you go to an audio store and they will charge you 20 or so for it
