That is a setup right there. Nice.
How do you like the L1Pro2's. I really want the L1 R2's but I need a sound processor more.
Still holding out for the Fosgate 3Sixty.3. Out in April.

I never asked you. How did you decide on your Scans?
Did you hear them beforehand or just take a shot based on recommendations and the signal graphs?
I would love to hear them but from what I see they really like on axis, which you have as good as possible in our trucks.

You'll love the Scans, I have a pair on my dash. Fantastic dome tweeters. I'll take Scanspeak or Seas over just about anything.
My buddy just picked up some Vifa rings and I am going to give them a try off-axis. My tweets are in the door sails and Im not really interested in messing with the pillars or pods...unless that what it takes.
Still undecided on where to put the L4s. Right now the plan is in the kick area in the console somewhat on axis - my also bounce them of the door windows. Much trial and error to come but thats what its all about right

Ok dumb question!! I have been following y'alls lead and I dynamated the back wall... Why are we just doing that section only? Should I be taking the rear seat out and doing the floor too or is that going overboard?

I have also replaced the carpet inside with a super plush sound dampening...

I think the back wall is just a very easy place to start. Might as well get it while the carpet is out.
I knew i was going to have some low end sound and a little dampener wouldn't hurt.
To be honest, i should have researched the whole art of vibration/sound deadening at the beginning.
I wouldn't have covered the entire back wall and gone with 25% coverage like I did the doors.

There are lots of products/opinions out there - just happened to be buying my HATs from him and we worked a deal.
Did doors and rear wall and stopped there for now. Will eventually do roof and floor if I ever get enough motivation. What started as a simple stereo upgrade has turned into a multiple evolution $$$$$$ obsession.
Start with your end goal in mind - if your going the SQ route then by all means do what you can afford and the more area you cover the better. If you like it loud with eyeball shaking bass and roll with the windows down sharing your musical tastes with the guy next to you - I love watching people shake their heads and roll their windows up then there is no need to go crazy with it. Doors and back wall are a must either way you go IMO with roof and floors being optional.
