Default my amp is driving me crazy!!

i know im wiring this stuff up right, herers what i did i wired the positive to positive on the sub to the positive on the box then run the positive wire to the positive side on the amp, negative to negative on sub to the box then negative to the amp. the subs are 4 ohm dual voice coils. on the amp i have 2 positive and 2 negative connectors. first i gave both subs their own positive and negative not as loud as just using 1 sub, then i hooked both positive wires up in one connection, hooked both negatives up in one connection. sounds the same! what the HELL is wrong!? and i even bought a multi meter checked the ohms and im reading 1.7 ohms.... whats up with that?

ruger still nothing! i bought new speaker wire and going to start from scratch, re wire everything and see what happens then. im also starting to think i need a bigger box, i bought the dual 10 inch supercrew sound box with the added 5/8th depth. what do you think of all this mess? just sell the box and subs and start over again?

Are you trying to bridge the amp and run subs parallel?

hey ruger thats what ive been looking at, A LOT. i get a little confused though when it has the neg. wires connecting from the sub then going into 1 to the amp.... well since my amp has 4 connectors on it (2 pos 2 neg) i just take the pos from one sub and connect it to 1 pos on the amp and the neg on the sub to the amp, do the same thing for the other sub right? i tried to upload pics but it wont let me saying something the pic size is too big. can i send the pics to you in an email?
