Default MTX Thunderform - sub hitting floor

I have a MTX Thunderform enclosure reloaded with a Kicker CompVT. Works fine, except... I have a base STX with rubber floors and the sub is really close to the floor and hits the floor. I don't think I can raise the box any, but I am going to see if I can get a 1" tall strip of wood under it and still get the seats down. I'd rather not remove the flooring from that area if I don't have to since that would kind of look bad.

Anyone else had this problem with a Thunderform or other downward facing sub setup? And how (if at all) did you fix it?

For the future I am considering a Fox Box with two 10's, any problems with those doing the same thing?

Default

I was able to get 1" strips of wood under the sides and still get the seat down, after bouncing my fat *** on it..... now I just need to integrate and paint the strips.
