I have a JVC AVX810 DD H/U with a 7" motorized detachable touch screen. Right now the unit sticks out about .400 of an inch. I flush mounted at first but the face was not able to open. The very top hits the trim when it attempts to open.

Does any body with a motorized screen able to mount flush? It didn't bother me at first but there has to be a way of mounting it flush.

Any ideas?

i do installs for a living there is absolutely no way to do this cleanly, there have been a few that have done this by shaving the dash looks horrible in my opinion
