Default Mono amps

Might be a stupid question but can a mono amplifier/1 channel run 2 subs

depends on the power of the amp and the required power for the subs...but yeah, its possible...not the best thing, but possible.

also depends on how many ohm stable the amp is. if you have a mono amp that is capable of 2 ohm then you can wire 2 4 ohm subs to it and that will bring subs to 2ohm .. some of the nicer mono amps are 1 ohm capable. Never had one though.

of course, there isnt anything wrong with it at all! just make sure that the ohm load is fine and its enough power...nothing wrong with running multiple subs to one amp

This is totally possible. I ran 4 JL AUDIO 12's on a mono block amp (also JL AUDIO) Google subwoofer wiring diagram to see how and what ohms can be wired to make a certain ohm level. I believe mine were wired to a 2 ohm load. 1 ohm load amps are better and can generally run more power.

its possible to run 100 subs on 1 amp if its enough power and the FINAL ohm load is where you need it

Oh lord! Don't confuse them any more than they already are..
I can picture someone hooking up 20 subs on a jensen amp right now..

rofl thats funny, ive ran a couple dozen 10"s off one of my amps though, its not hard if your decent with math and dont mine a good bit of wiring
