Default Mild 2013 upgrade input please, KTP-445, Pioneer shallow enclosed 10"

2013 xlt screw, 4.2" sync.
-AudioControl LC2I
-Alpine KTP-445
-decent 6.5's or 6x8's
-Pioneer TW-SWX251 shallow mount enclosed 10"
-using a Rockford P3001 or P2002 (have from last truck)

*Is there an aftermarket wiring harness available for the stock head unit?
*Will all stock functions be retained with the little inline amp?
*Will the stock tweets be ok?
*Has anyone run the shallow mount enclosed Pioneer unit?
*I'm not sure if the KTP-445 will be enough, but I like the sounds of an easy install with my lack of home time.

Any input or suggestions will be appreciated.

No, unfortunately Ford changed the wiring for the trucks with the 4.2 inch screen and the aftermarket hasn't caught up yet

Yes

If you're replacing the speakers you should probably disconnect the stock tweeters

It probably will not be adequate. Since you're already running wire for an amp, why not run 4 gauge and run 2 real amps? If I'm reading the model numbers correctly you have a mono and a 2 channel already? Use the mono for a sub and the 2 channel for your front doors. Replace the rear speakers but leave them running off the stock stereo

Most of your questions i answered above. Unless you already have it, forget the shallow pioneer and look at a sundown sd2 10 and a prefab box. Almost all of the prefab boxes will fit the sundown and it will kill any shallow mount on the market but 2, and they both cost $300 plus

I've heard that Pioneer shallow sub before and I was not impressed.

I am using a Kenwood eXcelon P-XW1000B and am very happy with it but I think it was discontinued? IMO it is perfect for a SQ build. I am only throwing 200 watts at it but I've read some negative reviews when trying to reach the maximum rated watts. But! for $150, if I get a year to of it, I'll be happy.

Edit.....forgot to add, the Kenwood box fits under the back seat of my crew cab very nicely and does not stick out, very clean.

Thanx for the replies guys, the pioneer is out of the running now. I have a couple of 10" from my last build, might build a box if I can't find a prefab single that will fit nicely under the seat.
