Got word back and they claim that the 4.5" display is vital to retain some of the SYNC functions, but wouldn't go into details of which functions.

$299 at my local install store, and that didn't include the harnesses.

With that being said I think I'm gonna wait for the Advent.

What if I don't even want to retain SYNC. After 4 months with it, I can say the Pioneer I had did everything much better. I would prefer to not use SYNC at all and just have an aftermarket head unit do it all. I would want to retain the steering wheel controls though.

And if the 4.2" screen is so vital for the SYNC, how does the Advent work?

I posted this in a different thread, does anyone have any experience with this?

I just ran across an other problem with the Metra bezel.
When I use my "remote start" to start the Truck it used to turn on the Heat/defrost full blast. Now with the Metra bezel the truck starts but no heat/defrost.
I reattached the factory bezel and the heat/defrost comes on as it used to.

Any one else experience this?
