or

i currently have the p3 in a ported box...But it just doesnt seem to thump like i wish it would...Would the kickers be louder? Pushing it with an old p3001 rockford fosgate amp. Id have to look at the specs but If i recall its an 800 watt with 400 watt rms.

The Kicker would be. It handles more power (400 vs. 300 watts rms) and has a higher sensitivity (85.5 vs. 83 dB@1w/1m), but the kicker requires a much larger box so you wont be able to just drop it in the box you have now and expect it to outperform the rockford.

well with a correct size box the kicker would walk all over the RF and i would bet that even in that box you have the kicker would be louder but you would be better off building your own a bit bigger than that pre-made one you have

If your box really has a 5.75" mounting depth like the link lists, I'd be looking at full size subs instead of shallows.

I have been looking for a sub that fits this bill, but must of the then are just weak sub, that can handle only 100-300W, you know some subs that can handle 500+ that i can use, this is the only part of my system that i don't know what to get.

Dayton HO can handle 600W RMS http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=295-462 . Check out the realmofexcursion forum for SPL advice.

I need DVC to get the lowest impedance, so i can take advantage of my amp.

But those are really nice subs.

How low do you need? 1 or 2 ohms?
