Looking for unswitched full time hot wire under dash
I'm installing a 10" powered subwoofer and I've searched the audio forum with no luck so I'm posting here since there has to be someone that knows where I can tap a full time, unswitched hot wire under the dashboard. I don't want to run a hot wire outside the cab to the battery + post so I plan on finding a full time hotwire in the cab.
I have the two factory service manuals but electrical diagrams are apparently a seperate manual.
Anyone know what wire would be a good candidate for tapping?
Thanks...

Dazed and Confused
I would think the amperage of the powered sub would reguire you to run a wire outside the cab to the battery. I doubt any internal wires have the capacity.

Thanks.
Now that you mention it...
The sub has a 20 amp fuse in it which would indicate a BIG current draw.....
Finding a firewall feedthrough on a '97 F150 ain't nearly as easy as it is on my '70 Ranchero!
