I've been kicking around the idea of putting a touch screen in my 06 and am partial to pioneer from previous vehicles and used to only run premier HU's.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...d=scsho6726362 for a little more this unit has a dedicated input for the camera

also considering this one myself

Funny you should ask; I'm actually looking to purchase this Pioneer head unit myself in the near future: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-c3HlO4t...H-X4500BT.html

It fits your price range too. If you buy from this site you'll get a DIN kit and wire harness with it so you have everything you'll need to install. If you check Amazon or eBay you can find it cheaper but you'll need to get the other stuff separate and the seller is probably not an authorized dealer so no warranty.

Either way you would probably want to get the steering wheel adapter and apparently a SYNC adapter (don't know anything about this because I don't have it). I'd personally also go to radio shack and get a parking break bypass adapter so you can play DVDs whenever you want without the parking break engaged.

You may be over your budget at this point. The **** adds up, unfortunately. But this is what I'd do.
Hey guys. I tried the old relay trick on my AVH-X5600BHS with no luck. At first it seemed to work, but after a day of frustration, I finally gave up and called my buddy. He said he got his installed at a local shop that used a bypass from www.diybypass.com. I already had completed my install so I just went and ordered it from amazon and it works amazing! I see people bring this up all of the time here so I just wanted to recommend it so that people don't waste their time with the relay. Here's the info for the item that I bought.
