Looking for a indash- touchscreen for my 2010 f150

I have not installed into my truck yet but have done other vehicles and it is easy. Make sure you buy a wire harness/adapter that works for your vehicle so you don't have to connect individual wires. This also will let you keep your steering wheel controls. You can buy this wherever you buy the stereo head unit. Yes, they factory radio is replaced and that's it. There are YouTube videos out there to show you how it's done and also guides to removing the dash piece of an F150. You can also get head units the have usb and aux outputs on the back of them with wires which you can run to your glovebox for a cleaner setup so you don't have wires running everywhere.

So I just realized you'll have to buy a steering wheel adapter as well as the basic wire harness won't do that for you... I hadn't needed on in the past since I drove old vehicles so I didn't know. This will be an extra 50-70 bucks. Probably costs the manufacturer a dollar to produce.
Funny you should ask; I'm actually looking to purchase this Pioneer head unit myself in the near future: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-c3HlO4t...H-X4500BT.html
It fits your price range too. If you buy from this site you'll get a DIN kit and wire harness with it so you have everything you'll need to install. If you check Amazon or eBay you can find it cheaper but you'll need to get the other stuff separate and the seller is probably not an authorized dealer so no warranty.
Either way you would probably want to get the steering wheel adapter and apparently a SYNC adapter (don't know anything about this because I don't have it). I'd personally also go to radio shack and get a parking break bypass adapter so you can play DVDs whenever you want without the parking break engaged.
You may be over your budget at this point. The **** adds up, unfortunately. But this is what I'd do.

Thanks TK5 (that sure saves a lot of effort in the research!).
Any idea if a front camera would be able to plug into this unit? Perhaps using AUX video?
Trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
