My display shows temp, compass & "built ford tough". You won't miss it, promise. I used the PAC axxess steering wheel interface and it works great. Easy to install, etc.
Personally, I didn't keep sync & I do not miss it. I never quite liked it. Bluetooth worked great for phone but I feel like an idiot trying to ask for a song or playlist. I'd rather just pull it up on the hu in a menu. To me, voice command is a novelty more than a practical interface.
The dash kit came from amazon. Scoshe brand. Many say it's more solid than the metra brand.

Thanks. How can you make display say different things other than I know at start up ford tough comes up. !!??? That's awesome. Yeah I only use the sync for phone calls. The text feature don't work with my iPhone anyway, at least that I can tell. Thanks. I'm going for the pioneer zvic130bt HU then. It looks awesome and def take all the attention in the front cab seats.
