Default Which kind of subs should i buy???

Right now i have 2 kicker 12" CVTs under the rear seat and i am just not happy with it(i like to be bigger better louder). so i built a new box that has 3 cubic ft of airspace. I removed the bench seats and the brackets and am i the process of making the box the actual seat,(need to figure out the cushion part too)

now which 12s should i put in there???
The new box is 8 1/4 inches deep so i can put some big ones in there
i have a MA Audio 1000w monoblock amp to use for now.
I dont want to break the bank but i plan on selling the old box and subs together to help pay for the new ones so be open on pricey ones

I will try to put some pics up here when its done.

I put some 12's into my wifes car they work better then anything we have ever used before.

They are called " pyramid gold" a little on the expensive side but well worth it.

With 1000 Watts of power you have good options. First are you wanting to do a ported box or sealed. Given that you only have 3cu ft you can do one of a few things.

1) 2 kicker solo classic 12s require .88cuft per sub sealed
2) 1 kicker L7 12 requires about 2.25 cuft including port
3) 2 JL Audio W6 10s or 12s
4) 1 JL Audio W7 12 requires about 2cuft including port

personally i would go with either the L7 12 or the W7 12 ported you most likely wont have enough airspace to do 2 subs ported. If you want to go sealed i would recommend the 2 W6 10s or 12s.

having one single chamber will help the subs fire together in tempo

i listen to just about anything, more rap than anything though because i like the bass. i want deep bass but not too pricey, im leaning towards the fosgate P2 12s. i cant afford to spend more than about 200 on them total. someday though...solo barics for sure
