The "remote" line sounds like it is losing power which is turning off your amps. Woukd beed to find out which wire that is and test it during the on/off cycle.

Just got mine installed yesterday...after 8 hours! Lol. Whew. But its clean and sounds great! Only conplaint i have is not being able to tune the frequency for the sub so some songs sound a bit "muddy". overall GREAT system, crystal clear speakers and no distortion, and best bang for your buck by far!

It doesn't happen every time though when the start stop activates so that makes me wonder if it is voltage drop and the amp senses it and shuts off or something along those lines.

Does anyone have any Idea what would cause this and how I might correct it?

Other than that the 2013-2014 kit has worked out pretty well, the only real complaint I have is that you have to really turn the volume up to get hard hitting bass out of the system...on the bright side though you can turn it all the way up without distortion .
You may have to find another source for the remote turn on wire

I was under the impression that the Kicker system was a at sensing and did not use a dedicated remote turn-on?

As for having to turn the volume up are you not able to use the BASS setting? If that's the case the instructions tell you how to adjust your bass levels by using the balance and fader controls.

Which is the only thing I can think of as to why you would use with an aftermarket radio. But the cost savings might make it worth it as well. Just modifying the wiring harness to work with the aftermarket radio would make it work.

It is 399.00 as of the other week when I ordered mine.
Assuming you bought a harness that plugs into your factory plug and spliced into your new aftermarket radio wiring, then yes, it will work just fine. Who actually cuts up a factory harness? Lol.

I am sure it is. That may have to be adapted for the 2015 turn on/off. ??

Pretty sure it was just a grammar error. It is when the amp senses that the radio is on and turns its self on without a dedicated turn on wire wire and turns off when the radio turns off
