Has anyone else that has tried to put this system in a 2015 noticed that the Amp is always on? I'm still trying to figure out how to get my amp to not turn off when the auto start stop system restarts the truck and noticed tonight that even when the truck is off keys are out of the ignition, all doors are shut there is still a hiss coming from the speakers. Does this kicker system have a remote wire into the AMP that I can change to a different source ?

I just recently mounted the amp but have not wired it yet. Working in stages..... But could it still be on, as you described, because of the delay? I think the radio and some other stuff stays powered for a period of time after ignition is off?

How about after 20 minutes or so. Does it stay on after that time period?

I think you are right, I checked it again after a few minutes and it appeared to be off, no more hiss. I thought I was on to something trying to figure out the other issue I was having with the auto stop-start but I guess not.

Looking at the wiring harness going into the Amp I don't really see any wire that could be a remote. it just appears to be speaker level inputs and outputs (green, purple, Gray and White) Sub input (green & Brown) and just 3 red power wires and a black ground. Am I missing something?

My question is:
1) what do you think about the setup I'm planning; installing 2 pairs of component CS 6x8's with tweeters (obviously as part of component package)?

2) what if I did this 2pair CS component setup on their own 4chan amp but with a Ford kicker upgrade sub installed separately?

3) are the factory kicker upgrade door speakers powered by an amp?

4) are the factory kicker upgrade tweeters upgraded?

Thanks.

While you're waiting for someone else to chime in...

3) The full soundstage kit (pictured in post #1) includes 4 door speakers and an amp to power them.

4) If you're talking about the tweeters in the A-pillars, there are no replacements included that I am aware of.

Correct tweeters not included just door speakers, which I have a set to sell If anyone is interested. The tweeters do get a boost from the amp though, the center channel if you have a 2015 does not however.

BostonBruins: Thanks for your previous response. So it comes with an amp to power these 4 speakers. What type of kickers are they, would you happen to know the RMS on the subs and the amp (4ch I'm assuming)?

Does the sub also have an amp and what is the type of sub, it's RMS, and the amp RMS (if it comes with one)...
