Default Kicker Hideaway Sub

Anybody try one yet? Similar product to the Sound Ordnance sub.

Installed and sounds very good for such small compact sub. I put mine along the back wall in screw, used industrial strength velcro to secure them with the straps. Would recommed them but I haven't heard the Sound Ordnance subs to compare.

I can only speak for the Sound Ordnance. I didn't go with the Kicker because I wanted a more traditional amp plugin than what the Kicker offered. I like screw terminals and an RCA jack. The Kicker has a power harness and speaker level inputs with an RCA adapter sold separately - I believe. They are probably very similar though. The Kicker does boast a tad more power, 30 more watts I believe.

I haven't heard the Sound Ordnance but I bet it's very similar. For the price and warranty the Sound Ordnance is probably the better deal. I do love the sound these Kickers put out though. They play really low and hit when needed. Can't believe it!! You don't need a remote turn on with the Kicker, a real plus.

Has anyone heard both the Sound Ordinance and the Kicker Hideaway subs to compare them?

Yea I have and IMO the kicker just seems to have better quality sound. I have it running with 4 infinity kappa speakers and I'm loving the set up
