It's not offset and looks to sit lower. If it was just 2 inches higher in my 2014, I could center my sub.
OK, I see it now. Yep Not sure also

It's either 1 of 2 things...... 1) they moved whatever that is on the back wall in the 15's/16's ...... or 2) they lowered that raised hump under the seats on the 15's/16's and it makes it look like that protrusion is up higher.

with the jack now being stored on top, behind the seat.....I am leaning towards them lowering that hump back there.

Think I found my sweet spot!

The remote **** at about 1:00, and the bass drums REALLY kick, and bass guitar notes aren't too far behind, just the way I believe it should be! No muddiness at all, sounds good across the board.

Do you have a picture of yours mounted? If not, would you mind taking one?

Thanks!

I appreciate those pictures. Would say it's a very noticeable difference in the factory subwoofer worth installing? I already have one that I had lying around from my son's vehicle. I also have someone on Craigslist who wants it for 150.00.

Decisions...

It's 100% worth installing! In my opinion it puts out the perfect amount of bass. I'm not an audio expert by any means but I really like this sub! I am amazed at how bad the Sony system is, especially the sub. I am VERY happy with this one.

I installed it today and grabbed power where my factory AMP is, gauge wire is plenty big and actually there are two power wires same color going into the factory AMP. I grounded to the AMP mounting plate.

I removed my factory subwoofer and tied into the factory subwoofer wiring.

Need to work on the setitngs but it's certainly more flexible than the factory one which really was pretty bad.

I'm very interested in the hideaway but am a noob at stereo installation. I have a 2013 Screw with the 4.2 inch radio screen but no sub. Will this connect directly to the back of my head unit? Does it come with everything I need? Thanks!

No... it will not plug in directly, it should come with just about everything you need to tap into the rear speaker wires, but you'll need some wire connectors, splices and a few tools, and you may need some extra wire to run the power to battery and remote turn on to fuse box.

Here is a great thread of how to go about it on a 2015. It should be about the same for your 2013, except for maybe the color of wires (which I think somebody addressed that somewhere along the way). So read through this and see if you are up for it. It is actually pretty simple and easy!
