Default Kenwood won't play dvd
I have a Kenwood DNX 7100 and it will not play video in dvd mode. I can hear it but no picture. I connect the parking brake wire to the black ground as I heard that will fix it but still not working. Any other suggestions.

You'll have to run a relay bypass. Google it and you will find many how-to's.

make sure the unit is grounded to the frame. u dont need to use the e brake.... ^but i agree with him

I believe the relay is for the pioneers, Kenwoods you just ground the PB wire.
