I Voted For Bill and Opus
Go with Boston Acoustics, Infinity, or Polk Audio. I have used Kenwoods in the past and have not been pleased with them. There are others, of course, I understand Pioneer speakers are very good but I have not tried them yet. When I replace the speakers on my truck I am going to go with Boston Acoustics this time. I am not yet sure if I am going to install a 4.1 external audio amp so I can go with a proper subwoofer. Which I why I have not moved on this job yet.

I had some kenwood 6.5's in a honda civic ( hahaha not that funny you can stop laughing), i was not very happy with their sound at all. I could never pin point what i didnt like about them, but i am happier with the Pioneer i put in my Ranger a while back

I have had kenwoods in my past 2 trucks and have had no problems running them with a stock deck and an aftermarket deck at full power. I also used kenwood tweeters with no problems an am very happy (check my albums) I use subs for bass so I turn the bass down on the stereo and have 0 problems from the speakers. Sound great, crisp and clear. Great treble.

Boston Acoustics are great speakers. If you are trying to save some cash but get some good sounding speakers go with Pioneer or Infinity. I believe that you can get a really good set of either for less than 100 bucks a pair.

I have kenwood fronts and rears in my truck. If you are on a budget Kenwood is great. Im pretty happy considering i paid a 100 for the 4 speakers. if you have more money at your disposal, consider infinity or boston acoustik like the guys suggested above. Also adjusting the equalizer to suit the system you have also greatly improves quality of sound.
