I currently have the JL sub box and have a amp just looking for a head unit, think when I get one I will be trying the Jensen. I have heard good things only bad was that the nav was not garmin.

ive messed around with that headunit, it LOOKS cool, but then again its a jensen and its features show alot, the ***** feel plasticy and cheap, feels like they will break off with barely any pressure...so many better things on the market for the price, if u wanna go a different route than jl i can help you...jl's are way over priced compared to better products out there

picked mine up for like 300... thought it was good deal... As for head units most of mine after 3 years still look like new, I am very picky with my stuff. Just seems the Jensen has all the things I am looking for in one package. when i get serious and ready to buy for sure I will check out some reviews on other head units...
What subs are you all about?

i constantly try new things, whether its headunits, component sets, amps subs etc...i dont like to have the same thing for too long but the one brand i go back to often is dc sound lab...there subs are amazing quality....u can get a lvl 4 sub for under the price you paid for yours and its much louder than a w7 and still sounds as good...mainstream isnt always the way to go....just because unique whips uses them dosnt mean there all that good

I use them caust I liked my JL13W6V2 in a ported box that I used to have. I know there are better out there. Just had good luck with them and I got a good deal on the sub when i bought it...

I gave 300 for the box and sub to go under the seat of my screw. Seemed like a good deal after pricing a new one...

I have had the VM9022 for over a year and none of the buttons are broken or even loose. The unit is well put together. I am sure there are better units but you can easily get these Jensen models for $400 or so. I am at least 95% satisfied with this unit and much prefer it over the AVIC D3 I had prior. I do like the new Pioneer units but I haven't had a chance to really mess around with one of them.
